In the domestic market, the following types of UV flexographic printing inks are primarily available:

(1) UV Paper Inks: Characterized by fast curing speeds, resistance to plate clogging, high clarity, vivid colors, a glossy and wear-resistant finish, and good chemical stability; these are suitable for high-quality, detailed color printing.

(2) UV Polyolefin Inks: Designed for materials such as PE, PVC, PET, and BOPP plastic films-as well as synthetic paper-that have undergone corona treatment. They offer fast curing, strong adhesion, water and abrasion resistance, and excellent printability.

(3) UV Pearlescent Inks: Intended for high-end packaging, these inks provide a pearlescent or metallic luster with a luxurious texture, strong adhesion, and good printability. In addition to silver-white, they are available in a variety of other colors, including rainbow-interference types.

(4) UV Transparent Inks: Formulated with dyes or a blend of dyes and pigments, these inks offer high transparency and vibrant colors. With strong adhesion, they are suitable for printing on materials such as vacuum-metallized (aluminized) substrates, aluminum foil, silver-coated paper, and holographic (laser) paper, creating an effect similar to hot foil stamping.

(5) UV Varnishes: Available in a wide range of varieties-including those for paper, polyolefin films, matte finishes, and hot-stamping-compatible applications-these varnishes cure rapidly, resist water and abrasion, and can be applied either inline (as part of the printing process) or offline (as a separate operation).
