A flatbed UV printer is an advanced printing device that combines UV-curing technology with flatbed printing. It enables high-quality, high-precision color printing directly onto a wide variety of flat materials. The process requires no plate-making and ensures that prints are dry the moment they emerge, significantly enhancing both production efficiency and operational flexibility.

The technology is primarily based on inkjet printing: a computer-controlled print head precisely jets UV-curable ink onto the surface of the substrate. Immediately afterward, ultraviolet (UV) light-emitted by a UV lamp-strikes the ink, causing it to cure (solidify) instantly. This creates a durable, wear-resistant, and vibrantly colored printed layer. This curing method is not only rapid but also preserves the original color and luster of the ink, resulting in exceptionally high-quality printed output.
